Utrecht – Cartier, Chanel, Dior, Prada. Glasses frames from these types of luxury brands cost between 1000 and 5000 euros. An interesting loot for criminals, because the (sun)glasses can easily be resold. Opticians are also better off than jewelers. That must change, according to the Dutch Union of Optical Companies (NUVO). A special app and security locks are being considered. And the motto should be: everything in the safe.
