Accusations intensify against South Korea’s defense minister
South Korea’s former Defense Minister Kim Yong-Hyon has been arrested on charges of helping President Yoon Suk-Yeol attempt a coup.
Yoon Suk-Yeol last week declared a state of emergency with accompanying martial law and sent special forces and helicopters to parliament on December 3. However, he was forced to back down after just six hours when 190 members went to parliament and voted against.
On Tuesday, a court in South Korea issued a formal arrest warrant for Kim. Later, a court confirmed that the former defense minister had been formally arrested. Kim was already detained on Sunday when investigators suspected that there was a risk that evidence would be destroyed.
The formal accusation concerns, among other things, “abuse of authority”.

The authority’s mistake: Stopped the wrong product
Earlier last fall, the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority stopped a product from the company Ozoneair that was marketed by Pernilla Wahlgren. The reason was that the model had too high a concentration of ozone and technical deficiencies with a risk of electric shock.
But now the sales freeze has been lifted by the administrative court – the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority had identified the wrong product, Ny Teknik reports.
According to the company, the agency incorrectly described the discontinued product as an air purifier, when in fact it is an ozone generator that allows significantly higher ozone levels.
In addition, the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority has issued the wrong name for the product, which has created great confusion and caused the company great financial suffering.
The court determines that the wrong product was entered, but does not take a position on what type of product the model is.

Anchovy shortage before Christmas
Anchovy shortage before Christmas
There is a shortage of the Christmas favorite anchovies again this year.
“The range of anchovies is limited, which can lead to some stores having less access to the products. This is because the size of the herring from which anchovies are made has been smaller, which has caused production problems,” writes Edvin Nestor, category manager at Ica Sweden, to Aftonbladet.
The range can vary from store to store and Ica is working to ensure that all stores get anchovies. They also urge customers not to hoard.
“We advise our customers not to buy more anchovies than they need,” he writes.
