It has been busy for Postnord and other suppliers lately. At the end of November, it was Black week and Black Friday, and during the big sales days, there are extra people who shop online – something that also puts more pressure on those who have to deliver the products.

– It is gratifying that so many choose Postnord as a supplier. There has been a lot of pressure on the terminals, but we have coped well, said Johan UddinHead of Parcel Operations at Postnord Sweden, i a press release in last week.

But at the same time they took the opportunity to send an invitation to the customers.

Postal code: Mail is not sent here at the moment

Before Christmas and the turn of the year, Postnord has released other information, partly about the increased postage that will be introduced next year, partly about when to send Christmas presents and Christmas cards at the latest.

But for those who plan to put cards and pats on the box, with a recipient in Canada, it may be worth thinking again.

On Postnord’s website is to inform you that there is currently a strike at Canada’s postal operator Canada Post, which means that they are not accepting mail at the moment.

“Letters destined for Canada will therefore be stored at Postnord until Canada Post receives mail again, for a maximum of 30 days. After that, the letters will be returned to the sender, but hopefully the conflict will be over before then,” they write.
