At 53 Adriana Karembeu accepts the grace of middle age

Adriana Karembeu speaks with rare honesty about her age and how she managed to accept it. Frank words, far from the sometimes easy hypocrisy in the world of show business. Confidences.

Adriana Karembeu gave an interview to Michel Cymes, speaking in particular about the passage of time and her vision of beauty over 50 years old. Today, the model has found peace.

It’s for his podcast The intimate that the doctor and TV host Michel Cymes invited Adriana Karembeu. The one whose beauty is one of her major assets confides her new relationship with age as she celebrated her 53rd birthday this year. The Slovakian admits: it took her a while to find serenity about her physical appearance and more particularly with “competition”. “When we realize that, well, there’s someone out there who might be prettier than youit hurts”, she declared. However, she managed to “make peace”accepting that it is possible to be “pretty at every age”. Faced with the passage of time, the blonde clarifies that she does not want to be hypocritical, denying the words of certain women claiming “I’m 50, I feel more beautiful than I did at 30.”

While Michel Cymes notes that medicine and cosmetic surgery are possible solutions to appear younger, Adriana Karembeu responds frankly: “I don’t think women are more beautiful with all that.” From now on, Marc Lavoine’s new companion is living her fifties to the fullest. “I’m no longer going to be beautiful like I was when I was 30, or like I was when I was 40, but that doesn’t matter. […] I don’t want to be the prettiest in the room“, she explained.

Finally, the mother concludes that it is impossible to escape one’s age, that it is preferable to assume 100% responsibility: “People know, they know your age. You can’t really cheat“.
