The Star Wars series The Mandalorian will have a cinematic spin-off next year. Din Djarin and Baby Yoda’s big-screen adventure is directed by franchise expert Jon Favreau, who also serves as the series’ showrunner.

In addition to the confirmation of Sigourney Weaver as a new addition to the cast, a new one has now been announced another star for an obviously important role announced in The Mandalorian & Grogu. Jeremy Allen White plays the son of Jabba the Hutt.

If Favreau and his team are based on this version of the Jabba descendant, Jeremy Allen White should act as the character’s voice. According to Deadline, his involvement will not just be a brief cameo appearance.

New Star Wars star is best known as a series actor

Jeremy Allen White first achieved greater fame through his role in the US series Shameless. Here he played the role of Lip Gallagher, the troubled son of the head of the family, Frank. You can find all 11 seasons with a Netflix subscription.

When does The Mandalorian & Grogu start in cinemas?

The Star Wars film for the Disney+ series is scheduled to be released in Germany from May 21, 2026 be seen on the big screen. There is currently no information about the plot.
