The World Short Course Swimming Championships begin in Budapest. Three Finns are participating in the first day’s morning competition.
Fanny Teijonsalo swim in the heats of the 100m backstroke. Teijonsalo was second in his heat with his own record of 59.27. However, it was not enough for a place in the semi-finals. Teijonsalo was 25th in the overall results of the heats.
