The City of Brantford, in partnership with the Laurier Hub for Community Solutions and the Brantford Immigration Partnership, will host the Dec. 10 event from 7 pm to 9 pm at 97 Dalhousie St., room DAL007.
Through a concept proposed by Imam Abu Noman Tarek of the Muslim Association, Pieces 4 Peace launched in the fall of 2024, bringing together community members to share in learning and connection across cultural and social differences.
The annual series has included presentations about newcomer inclusion, the Two Row Wampum, storytelling as a tool for community building, and intersections of 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion.
Tuesday’s event marks the annual observance of the United Nations Human Rights Day, which is also the final day of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence.
