Zelenskyy on Trump: “Deeply grateful”
Volodymyr Zelenskyy praises Donald Trump for his will to “get a just end to the war”.
This is what the Ukrainian president writes in a post on X after the two met in Paris last Saturday. Zelenskyy says he is “deeply grateful” for Trump’s attitude.
“I told President Trump that he is the only one that Putin fears, possibly along with China.”

A man in Dalarna died in his home, two days after receiving incorrect advice from 1177.
The man called in and said he had a severe headache, neck pain, difficulty keeping his eyes open and that he had vomited. He had also just had an ear infection from which, despite treatment, he did not recover, writes Eskilstuna-Kuriren.
But instead of urging the man to seek treatment, 1177 advised him to wait. Two days later, the man was found dead as a result of bacterial meningitis.
The incident has been reported by Region Sörmland to the Health and Care Inspectorate according to lex Maria. According to the report, the advice was incorrect because the man would have sought emergency treatment.

A man was hit on Monday evening at a bus stop in Pettersberg in Västerås.
According to witness statements to the police, a car driver deliberately aimed at the man and then deviated in the direction of Sotargatan.

At least a percentage of the hotel’s guests were evacuated after an automatic fire alarm was triggered.
The fire was extinguished shortly before midnight.

– When we got there, the fire was out, but it was noisy in the stairwell, and we found an injured person who had been severely assaulted, says Per Fahlström, police spokesperson.

– He is said to be seriously injured and we have started a preliminary investigation into serious assault and arson, says Fahlström.

Later on Monday evening, the police announced that they had arrested a woman suspected of murder or attempted murder.

Man detained in connection with CEO murder in New York
A man has been detained in connection with the assassination of an insurance company executive in New York, according to ABC News.
The man, who was taken into custody in Altoona, Pennsylvania, is described as a person of interest to the investigation and will be questioned by police investigators from the New York Police Department.
A source says the television channel that the man owns a weapon similar to the one used in the murder.
