Since the war broke out in Ukraine, Erik Byström has been collecting supplies for those affected by the war. The Christmas gift collection takes place for the second year in a row and is organized in collaboration with the Swedish church Malå-Sorsele pastorate.
In total, 700 Christmas presents have been received and sent to Ukraine.
– The people of Sorsele are very generous. Looking at the number of inhabitants, the number of parcels would correspond to around 35,000 in Umeå, says Byström.
