All of Crown Princess Victoria’s dresses at the Nobel Party from 1995 – 2023 The first time Crown Princess Victoria attended the Nobel was in 1995. Then the Crown Princess was 18 years old, and she made her Nobel debut in a red velvet dress. Then dressed in a beautiful lavender purple dress, designed by Göran Alfredsson. Image source: Stella Pictures.
Victoria studied at Yale in 1998 and 1999, but made a comeback at Nobel in 2000. She made her entrance in a pink dream signed by Lars Wallin. The following year she also chose Lars Wallin, but then a dress in red satin. Image source: Anders Wiklund/TT Image Crown Princess Victoria in her red satin dress in 2001. In 2005, Victoria chose a white silk dress with a sparkling life. Different and fun! Image source: Stella Pictures. In 2006 it became a red-purple silk dream signed Lars Wallin. This dress became a favorite of Victoria, who was seen wearing it on several different occasions later. Image source: Stella Pictures In 2007, something happened – for the first time ever, Crown Princess Victoria left the strong colors in the wardrobe. For the Nobel party in 2007, she instead wore a very modern story designed by Pär Engsheden, where the colors were black, white and grey. Image source: Stella Pictures If 2007 was the colorless year, the crown princess took it again in 2008 – then she dissolved the December night with her cerise pink bladder, also designed by Pär Engsheden. Her purple dress with a large flower on the back was designed by Lebanese designer Ellie Saab. Image source: Stella Pictures. Also in 2010, Ellie Saab was used for Victoria, who chose a camel-colored dress that year.
In 2011, Crown Princess Victoria was pregnant with Princess Estelle – and her maternity dress did not go down well. It was not a budget variant from the chains directly. No, instead Victoria sparkled in a cobalt blue sequined dream signed by Pär Engsheden. Image source: Stella Pictures.Victoria definitely took a liking to the sequins, because in 2012 she continued on the disco track when she chose emerald green sequins from her old favorite Ellie Saab. Image source: Stella Pictures There was no Nobel party for Victoria in 2013, when she was instead at Nelson Mandela’s funeral. The year 2014 became perhaps one of Victoria’s most talked about “looks”. She chose a crimson, fleshy dress from Pär Engsheden…Image source: Stella Pictures. But it wasn’t the dress that created reactions. Namely, Victoria violated a breach of etiquette by wearing seraphim ribbons on bare skin. Something that was noticed by the already legendary etiquette expert Magdalena Ribbing. Image source: Stella Pictures. – The Crown Princess has made a mistake. Namely, she has seraphim ribbons on her bare skin. You really shouldn’t have that. Maybe she has forgotten that just today, said Magdalena Ribbing in SVT at the time. Breach of etiquette or not – Crown Princess Victoria was radiant anyway! Image source: Stella Pictures. The following year, Crown Princess Victoria was pregnant with Prince Oscar, and this time her maternity dress was slightly more toned down in the form of a purple dress from Malin Andrén By Malina. Image source: Stella Pictures There is no doubt that Crown Princess Victoria pushes the boundaries of fashion and likes to try new things. 2016 was probably the first time a royal wore H&M at the Nobel. Crown Princess Victoria’s dress was in and of itself specially made by H&M, and made of, among other things, organic silk. Image source: Stella Pictures. In 2017, Crown Princess Victoria looked like a real ice princess in her blue dress from Jennifer Blom. Her dresses are real expensive items – Crown Princess Victoria’s beautiful dress cost around SEK 50,000. Image source: Stella Pictures. Rummaging through mom’s closet? Yes, Victoria did in 2018 when she took the world’s breath away when she arrived in Queen Silvia’s vintage Nina Ricci dress from 1995. Talk about recycling! Image source: Stella Pictures. In 2019, the crown princess opted for monochrome again. Then the choice fell on a black and white puff dress designed by the Swedish costume designer and fashion designer Selam Fessahaye. Image source: Stella Pictures. In 2020, the Nobel festivities were canceled due to the current corona pandemic, and when it made a comeback in 2021, it was on a much smaller scale. Which also meant a simpler dress code in the form of a dark suit. This resulted in Crown Princess Victoria appearing in a slightly more modest dress – although it was designed by her favorite Pär Engsheden, who is actually also the one who made her stunning wedding dress. In 2023, Victoria wore a violet silk dress by Camilla Thulin. Those with eyes may know that she wore the dress when the Dutch royal couple visited Sweden the year before.
