The world’s most famous shoes sold
The iconic shoes were worn by Judy Garland in the movie The Wizard of Oz.
Two decades ago, they were stolen from a museum in Minnesota.
But in 2018, the FBI tracked down the shoe thief. And now they have a new owner.
The pair was auctioned off and the price tag landed at $28 million, AP reports.
Which corresponds to SEK 306 million.
However, it is unclear who can now claim ownership of the world’s most famous shoes – as the winner was an anonymous buyer.
