New statistics from If and the roadside assistance company Viking show that every third roadside assistance assignment for If-insured electric cars in 2024 has been related to the 12V battery.

Of the 100,000 roadside assistance missions that Viking carries out annually, a significant proportion is connected to missions from If.
A full 37 percent of Viking’s assignments for If-insured cars are related to problems with the 12V battery. This type of battery is used to power the car’s electronics and starting functions, making it crucial for the car’s various functions.
