Tuomas Iisalon assistant coach Memphis Grizzlies claimed a 127-121 victory over last season’s NBA champion Boston Celtics on Saturday. The Grizzlies had lost their last ten games in Boston and last beat the Celtics on the road on November 27, 2013.
Memphis playmaker And Morant managed 32 points, nine assists and nine rebounds.
Memphis won the points scored from the three-second zone 64-40 and the points scored from quick attacks 22-4. Boston made eleven layups and 27 three-pointers more than Memphis, but had modest shooting accuracy.
As usual, Memphis played ten men, each of whom played at least 17 minutes.
