Peli-Karhut and ToPo are at the top of the series with equal points. PeKa has one more match played.
In the women’s basketball league, there was a battle at the top when ToPo and Peli-Karhut met in Helsinki. ToPo, who lost the first meeting, did not let PeKa surprise this time, but rolled to victory with a score of 90–68.
Carmen Tyson Thomas was on top of the game by scoring 27 points and collecting 14 rebounds. Also Taru Tuukkanen 15/13 and Magdalene Agyei 13/10 reached a double-double. Strangers Lauren Heard bagged 18 points and collected 11 rebounds.
In the other two matches, Honka of Tapiola defeated Vimpelin Vedo at home 89–86 and FoA, which is last in the series, lost at home to EBT 62–92.
