The police have camera images of the incident in which a man was left seriously injured in the center of Amersfoort. A witness told police that the 53-year-old man had an argument and was then pushed. The suspect then ran away. The victim was left seriously injured.

The incident happened around 9:56 PM on Jansdam. When police arrived, they found an intoxicated patron. He had an injury to his hand, which was thought to be a stabbing incident. Because the man became verbally aggressive and started spitting, he was taken away by the police.
