Preload also available on Steam

According to our readers and users on Reddit, the preload is now also available on Steam without a separate client (via reddit.com). So you can simply start the download. It is 86 GB according to OrcaNeuroSonic on MeinMMO.

When does Path of Exile 2 start? The release of the beta starts on December 6th, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. German time. Fans were able to secure a spot in the beta by purchasing an early access key. If you have purchased one of the many support packs, you are also invited to the beta.

As the boss of Path of Exile 2 already announced, the start of the beta will be bumpy. The rush of participants is huge and the servers are not yet designed for such a number of fans.

What do the fans say about the beta start? We wanted to know from our community whether they would be there at the beta launch and if so, which supporter pack they would buy. Many are sure and have trust in the developers. Up to 1,176 readers buy the beta key for €30 and hundreds more even buy the much more expensive supporter packs.

Paying for betas always comes with a lot of trust from fans. We don’t know whether the game is actually as good as the developers advertise it, but our readers are sure. They trust the developers of PoE 2. The following can be heard in the comments:
