The fireworks, which were thrown through the primary school’s mailbox last night around 7:15 p.m., caused the mailbox to explode and caused a fire in the building. Several stools have been burned and the digital board no longer works. In addition, the workbooks and notebooks are no longer usable. “That all needs to be replaced,” says team leader Janneke Smit of the Caecilia school. “And it doesn’t smell okay in here either.”
