Paris knows how to shine with 1000 lights. On the political side, not always. What tumults sometimes of course… but: the Olympic Games yesterday, Notre Dame resurrected tomorrow, sparkles remain… The glitter of the Champs-Élysées already lights up Christmas. The Champs-Élysées, the most beautiful avenue in the world… Where does this statement come from when we ultimately know that Parisians shun it and that only tourists seem to rush there to take photos or visit the luxury stores?
The avenue has not always been prestigious. But, always, on the other hand, it seems to have been erected as a symbol of celebration of all kinds, people party there and demonstrate there.
