As the trailer already suggests, the new Snow White film also roughly follows the story of the Grimm fairy tale. An evil queen (Gal Gadot) will not tolerate other beautiful women in her kingdom. Accordingly, she also has the young Snow White (Rachel Zegler) followed and tries to poison her with an apple.
The famous seven dwarves also make an appearance in the remake. Leading actress Zegler has already hinted at major changes in the conversation: her adaptation is about “not about the love story with one guys, the [die Heldin] literally pursued as a stalker“, she explained at the D23 Expo.
Accordingly, Zegler’s character appears confident in the new trailer. The origin of her name was also changed for the remake and is now intended to remind young people of their own inner strength.
