Cultural requirements of deutzia
This shrub prefers a sunny or lightly shaded location. A classic soil will suit it by adding compost to garden soil or potting soil when planting. Once planted in fall, from September to November, in the ground or in a pot, it requires little care. To make a hedge, space them about 1 m apart. In pots, remember to check the hole in drainage in the bottom of the pot and place a drainage layer of 5 cm before filling with potting soil. Water the deutzia well the first year of planting. After flowering, make a small cleaning size. Using pruning shears, cut the deflowered branches to 1/3 of their length and prune the drink damaged or dead.
