Sewerage and pipes are being replaced under what is said to be the longest shopping street in the Netherlands. The closure will last at least a year. Traffic is hardly welcome there, and that applies to cars, but also to cyclists. As a result, the turnover of many entrepreneurs is declining, as became apparent during a Council Information Evening (RIB) last week.
