Edoardo Bove was shortened to the field in the match between Fiorentina and Inter.
In the Italian Serie A soccer match on Sunday, shortened to the field Edoardo Bove is in hospital in a stable condition, the Italian player’s club Fiorentina announced. Bove collapsed on the pitch in the 16th minute of the match between Fiorentina and Inter and was taken to intensive care at a Florence hospital.
– The first cardiological and neurological tests have ruled out serious damage to his central nervous system and his heart and respiratory system, Fiorentina and the hospital announced.
Fiorentina added that 22-year-old Bove’s condition will be re-evaluated in the next day.
The match between Fiorentina and Inter was not continued, and a new match date will be decided later. Fiorentina teammates and the Italian football community showed their support for Bove, who plays for Fiorentina on loan from AS Roma.

Fiorentina still has bad memories of 2018, when the team’s captain Davide Astori died at the age of 31. He died in a hotel before an away match against Udinese.
