Correct: one more very young Kirsten Dunst was seen in the Star Trek episode Place of Darkness when she was just eleven years old. She played an alien girl named Hedril who is taught verbal communication by Lwaxana Troi (Majel Barrett). As a member of the Cairn species, she usually only communicates telepathically. But as Lwaxana’s daughter Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis) later reveals, not everything is as it seems.

Kirsten Dunst started acting at a very early age

Three years ago, Dunst revealed to Vanity Fair how she came to acting at such a young age:

I was three years old in the supermarketwhen people came up to my parents and said, ‘Your child is cute. You should put them into child acting or modeling.’ We were in New Jersey and I signed with Ford Modeling Agency as a little girl.

What followed was a cereal ad, an appearance in Woody Allen’s film New York Stories and years later the big breakthrough as immortal vampire girl Claudia in Interview with a Vampire. But Dunst also seems to fondly remember her little stopover as an alien girl in Star Trek. In 2016, for example, she posted a cute picture from the set of the series on Instagram:
