Police and emergency services were alerted to an explosion in Håkanstorp in Malmö late on Saturday evening.
– Something has detonated in the gate of an apartment building. There is some material damage in connection with the gate, says Mikael Lindh, officer on duty at the police, to TT.
No one is said to have been injured in connection with the incident and the residents of the house did not need to be evacuated.
– We are now taking investigative measures at the scene. We will see if we can find witnesses, we have blocked off and are waiting for technicians and the national bomb protection, says Mikael Lind.
The alarm came in shortly after 11:30 p.m. The police are tight-lipped about what exploded. No criminal classification has been set yet.
– But it leans towards universally dangerous devastation.
