The mayor of Nabatieh and part of his team died in the bombing. The city center of this Shiite locality is a field of ruins, littered with electrical cables. Here, we are clearing out what was a restaurant.

In the immediate future, the bookseller would like to secure what remains of the store to protect the books, with the sole help of her two sons. No state services are visible on the streets of Nabatieh.
