During the fight, which took place in Utrecht on Wednesday 12 January, a number of FC Utrecht supporters were training in a sports park on Parkzichtlaan around 8 p.m. Out of nowhere they were attacked by a large group of Feyenoord supporters. A fight ensued, in which heavy blows were dealt. A number of people were injured. By the time the police were alerted, the perpetrators had already left.
