Larian Studios is not yet ready to give an exact release date for Patch 8. However, Baldur’s Gate 3 players will be able to get an early look at these upcoming features by participating in a stress test planned for early January. More information about participation will be shared soon.
While Larian has been clear that he won’t be making downloadable content for Baldur’s Gate 4 or Baldur’s Gate 3, it looks like he’s planning to bring development of 2023’s Game of the Year to a grand conclusion. New subclasses, cross-platform support, and photo mode will add even more depth and variety to Baldur’s Gate 3, an already great game.
