Chad has decided to end its military cooperation with France.
This was announced by the country’s foreign minister Abderaman Koulamallah just hours after a visit by the French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot.
“The Government of the Republic of Chad hereby informs nationally and internationally of its decision to terminate the agreement with France in the field of defense,” says Koulamallah in a statement on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Facebook page.
