(Finance) – “The companies associated with Univendita have achieved in the first half of this year i 754.6 million euros in turnoverslightly growing compared to the same period in 2023. A figure that shows the stability and strengthening of the sector, despite the difficult economic situation. Among the product sectors, cosmetics and body care grew by 1.2%, reaching almost 132 million. Food products and household consumer goods also performed well (+0.9% to 269 million). Durable household goods remain the largest item, with over 318 million in revenues (46% of the total). The other goods and services are close to 35 million euros”.
These are the main numbers that emerged fromUnivendita annual meeting, the largest direct sales association in Italy, member of Confcommercio, held yesterday in Padua and this year hosted by Nims, Lavazza Group.
The Univendita president, Ciro Sinatradeclared: “The sector proves to be vital and dynamic, thanks to the recognized value of the associated brands and the trust given to us by consumers, trust which confirms the goodness of our business model, capable of combine new communication technologies with the essential direct relationship between seller and customer. The direct sales method has ancient roots, but at the same time best interprets the challenges of contemporary marketing and consumption”.
