A British court has found a former British soldier Daniel Khalifen guilty of espionage for Iran.

According to the court, Khalife gave sensitive information and told the identities of special forces soldiers to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.

Khalife was also convicted of terrorist crimes because the information he gave could have been used for a terrorist attack.

23-year-old Khalife was dismissed from the armed forces when he was caught. Khalife denied the charges and claimed he wanted to be a double agent.
