Environmentalist Elin Söderberg, Member of Parliament from Västerbotten and the party’s climate policy spokesperson, is leaving the party.
“During an after party in connection with the party’s municipality and regional days, Elin acted inappropriately. It is an action that is not compatible with representing the Green Party, and Elin has decided to resign from her position as a member of parliament,” says Annika Hirvonen, group leader of the Green Party’s parliamentary group in a press release.
In 2021, Elin Söderberg ran for spokesperson, a position that ultimately went to Märta Stenevi.
