A man is suspected of attempted murder

A man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of a woman in Piteå. The man and woman must have had a close relationship. The police were alerted on Wednesday afternoon. The woman is said to have been abused.

Ikea’s prices can be more expensive

Donald Trump plans to raise tariffs on goods from China, but also impose tariffs on neighboring countries Mexico and Canada. This can make it more difficult to keep prices down in Ikea’s department stores, according to Jesper Brodin, CEO of Ingka Group.

30 percent of Ikea’s goods are manufactured in Asia, mostly in China.

Five women allegedly had their uteruses surgically removed unnecessarily. And several may be affected. The hospital considers that the doctor carried out the operations on incorrect or questionable grounds.

A woman who had her healthy uterus removed wanted to have more children. After the operation, she has suffered from PTSD and depression.

The doctor has resigned at his own request.
