Raimo Helminen continues as the head coach of Lappeenranta SaiPa, says SaiPa. The contract runs until spring 2026.
They continue in Helminen’s coaching group Janne Hietaniemi, Santeri Immonen and goalkeeper coach Antti Ore.
SaiPa, coached by Helminen, has been an absolute comet at the start of the SM league season. It is second in the SM league after 25 matches and is currently on a wild 11-match winning streak.
The streak may continue tonight when SaiPa hosts HPK.
