Top-class blockbuster entertainment is on TV today: Jurassic World 2: The Fallen Kingdom, the second most expensive film in cinema history to date, is being broadcast. It is said to have cost $432 million. It’s just about the production costs, not including marketing and anything else like that.
What happens in Jurassic World 2: Fallen Kingdom?
The story of Jurassic World 2 unsurprisingly begins some time after the events of Jurassic World. This time it’s about the fact that the dinosaurs still remaining on Isla Nublar are once again threatened with extinction because a gigantic volcano is about to erupt on the island. So Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) and Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) set off again to protect the animals from extinction.
But within a very short time it turns out that some other, less nice people also want to get hold of the dinosaurs. And then there is that too brand new bred Indoraptora mix of Indominus Rex and Velociraptor that dwarfs all previous dinosaurs.
These are the most expensive films of all time and Jurassic World 2 is second
The numbers are largely based only on estimatesbecause the studios often unfortunately do not publish the corresponding figures, but in unconfirmed cases they at least come from professional researchers and film industry authors. IGN has the complete list of all films that cost over $200 million.
