Dexter: Original Sin is told from the perspective of Michael C. Hall
As the current preview reveals, the upcoming series will from the perspective of Michael C. Hall’s main character told. This means that Dexter: Original Sin is not just a prequel, but a long series of memories of Dexter, who is apparently still dying and who survived New Blood.
As a reminder, at the end of the bonus season he is shot by his own son Harrison (Jack Alcott) and left to die in the cold. Since in addition to Dexter: Original Sin, another new series called Dexter: Resurrection has been announced for 2025, the prequel will probably also build a bridge between New Blood and the next spin-off, for which Michael C. The new Dexter prestory starts in this country from December 13, 2024 on Paramount+ as a streaming subscription. The prequel story will consist of a total of ten episodes.
