Explosion at apartment building
During the night of Wednesday, an explosion occurred at an apartment building in the Linero area of Lund. The explosion reportedly caused damage to a gate and soot damage to the facade.
A preliminary investigation into public-dangerous devastation has been launched.

People defrauded the elderly out of millions – sentenced to prison
A man in his 40s has now been convicted of two counts of accounting offences, seven counts of tax offenses and 22 counts of gross fraud. According to SVT Värmland, the man allegedly withdrew SEK 27 million in the name of others, many of them elderly.

Famous director dead
The director Carlo Barsotti has died, aged 85, writes Svenska Dagbladet. Among other things, he was involved in staging Dario Fo plays in Sweden. He was also part of the theater group Narren in the 1970s.
