At least 22 people have been killed in new Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, the Hamas-controlled Civil Defense Authority says.
Eleven of them are said to have been killed in an attack on a school where thousands of civilians have sought refuge during the war. 40 people are said to have been injured in the attack.
Israel comments on the information that the military has struck Hamas members who were “operating in a command and control center” embedded in what used to be a school.
Among the 22 victims are also eleven Gazans who were killed in Israeli attacks on the night of Tuesday, including against a residential building in Jabalia in northern Gaza, according to the Civil Defense Authority.
