The single accident occurred on road 344 between Lillholmsjö and Föllinge in Krokom municipality after a passenger car drove off the road and ended up in the ditch.
A moment later it is announced that the driver, a man who was alone in the vehicle, is deceased. There are many indications that the accident happened at low speed, according to the police.
The next of kin have been informed and the car has been impounded for a technical examination.
