African mothers and their babies at Restos du Cœur. Around 10% of Restos du Cœur beneficiaries are babies and 128,000 children under 3 years old passed through the doors of Restos in 2023-2024. Faced with a worrying increase in requests, the Restos du Cœur are expanding their support for precarious families, particularly the youngest, and are launching their 40th national campaign. The Resto Bébé du coeur association located in the center of Paris, a stone’s throw from Saint Roch church, is unique in its kind, because it receives beneficiaries – mainly foreign mothers without resources – upon registration, all year round. Open on Tuesday and Thursday. The structure has 120 families registered and receives around 35 mothers per week.
