(Finance) – The Competition and Market Guarantor Authority (AGCM) has decided not to start the investigation with regard to the operation which concerns theacquisition by Gucci Logistics of control of Colonna through the transfer from joint control to exclusive control.
Gucci Logistics is a group company Kering active in the sector of design, development, engineering, production, purchase, sale, import and export of Gucci brand products. Column is the holding company of the industrial group of the same name active in the tanning industry sector and, to a limited extent, in the marketing of the chemical agents necessary for leather processing, which holds controlling interests in various companies.
Gucci Logistics, which already held 51% of the share capital of Colonna, will acquire exclusive control of the latter and of the companies controlled by it through the signing of an executive agreement which provides for the transfer of the remaining 49% share of the share capital of Colonna.
The Antitrust says that the operation does not appear likely to significantly impede competition effective in the market concerned and to lead to the creation or strengthening of a dominant position.
