Father in Varberg abused boy on bicycle

A father in Varberg was tired of seeing his son being bullied by a group of boys.
So one day, when the gang of boys rode past, the father took matters into his own hands.
In the commotion that ensued, he ripped a guy off his bike and punched him in the face, reports say
Halland’s News.

For two weeks, at the same time, the youth gang had cycled past the man’s house and shouted abuse at the son. In questioning, the man states that the son felt so bad about this that in the end he did not want to go to school.

When the same time approached in the third week, the father went out and stood some distance from the house. When the boys then came cycling, shouting the same expletives as before, the father appeared and confronted the young people. He then stopped one of the guys who had been shouting and tore him off the bike. In the middle of the tumult, the father then allegedly hit the boy with his open hand over the temple, writes Hallands Nyheter.

“I was shocked and scared. Because I thought he would go after my friends too. Because I didn’t know who it was,” says the boy in questioning.

Both admit

Now the man is charged with assault, reports Hallands Nyheter.

The father admits that he hit the boy, but believes that the crime classification should be changed from assault to minor assault.

The boy, for his part, admits that he shouted obscenities, but believes that the words were not directed at the man’s son but another person who had a relationship with one of his friends.
