(Finance) – Starting from today evening, the ENAV Rome Fiumicino airport control towerthe company that manages civil air traffic in Italy, will be illuminated in red on the occasion of November 25th, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
For the second consecutive year, the Company led by the CEO Pasqualino Monti continues its awareness campaign on the topic of gender violence also using this impactful visual modality.
Alessandra Bruni – President of ENAV – declared: “According to ISTAT data, almost one in three women in Italy declares having suffered some form of physical or sexual violence during her life. Faced with this phenomenon, a company has the moral obligation to represent a safe and supportive place for women in difficulty. For this reason, our Group has joined the SupportHer initiative, in order to raise awareness among colleagues on the issue of gender violence, not only through moments of information but also thanks to a real network of employees: women and men who, after a training course, will be able to recognise, manage and guide colleagues in difficulty”.
The SupportHer initiative is carried out in collaboration with the ENAV Trusted Advisor, a figure present in the company since 2021. An interlocutor to whom the people of the Company can turn whenever they believe they are victims of discrimination, harassment or abuse in the workplace Work.
These actions are part of a broader policy relating to the issues of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion that the ENAV Group promotes towards its people, a commitment which led ENAV, in July this year, to the achievement of the equality certification type
