West, who now goes by Ye, has been sued in a civil lawsuit, reports Sky News.
According to the lawsuit filed Friday in New York, West allegedly choked a woman and then shoved his fingers into her mouth.
The woman was an extra in another artist’s music video, in which West appeared as a guest artist, when the assault occurred.
Representatives for Kanye West have not commented on the allegations.
