Peg Parnevik’s tribute to Joel Nordenberg

The bar has been raised after the quarter-finals in “Idol”, according to Peg Parnevik.
Ahead of the semi-finals next week, she has high expectations for the idols.
– It must not feel unsafe or shaky now, she says.

It was Victoria Grace Larsson who was forced to leave “Idol” in the quarter-finals. Five idols are now ready for the semi-finals, and jury member Peg Parnevik thinks the bar has been raised.

– Now they are at such a high level that we have to check every little thing, it’s a level of detail. We want them to be finished artists when they leave here, so now the bar is high, she says after the program.

“Must be at a sick level”

Before next Saturday, she has high expectations for the idols who remain in the competition.

– Now it’s on the hair. You have to be on a sick level, I want to feel that it is their concert and that you will meet them on tour, she says and continues:

– It must not be something that feels uncertain or shaky, it must last all the way.

Participant Minou Nilsson hung loose in Saturday’s program, but made it through to next week. She says that it feels “absolutely insane” to be ready for the semi-finals.

– I kind of didn’t think so, everyone has been so talented so it feels unimaginable that you can stand there yourself. I enjoy it more and more every time, and I just want to stand on this stage again and again, she says.

The tribute to Joel Nordenberg

Peg Parnevik thinks it’s hard to say which of the idols she thinks will be in the final final, but one idol she thinks outdoes herself “time and time again” is Joel Nordenberg.

– It’s not what I think is stereotypical for “Idol”. He does his thing, and that’s what I really appreciate about him. Whether he wins or not, I think we’ll be seeing a lot of him.

The semi-final of “Idol” will be broadcast on Saturday 30 November on TV4 and on TV4 Play. Then it’s time for the “Viewers’ Choice”, where the viewers get to vote on which songs the participants will perform.
