The municipality says it made the decision to abolish the sales ban in consultation with entrepreneurs. “This will remove the misunderstanding among customers and make the situation in the stores safer,” the municipality writes. Boon’s Markt and Albert Heijn will receive a new permit at the end of November, from which time alcohol sales may continue until midnight.
