Anthony Elanga was dumped by national team captain Jon Dahl Tomasson and refused to answer the Dane’s phone calls.
Now Dejan Kulusevski wants to help mediate peace between the two parties.
– I can solve everything, he says to Sportbladet.

Tomasson poked Anthony Elanga
One who was not on the field, however, was the Nottingham Forrest winger Anthony Elanga. After some weak rallies under the national team captain Jon Dahl Tomasson’s management chose the Dane to poke the Premier League star from his squad.
– Some players come in, others go out. Football can be cruel, there is tough competition for places. Alexander Isak is back from injury. Emil Forsberg has done really well in New York Red Bull, he scores goals and provides assists. So yes, it is competition decisions that apply, said “JDT” when the squad was presented.

Something that surprised many was that Anthony Elanga did not even answer when Dahl Tomasson tried to reach him. It is still unclear if the two have communicated anything at all, because the national team captain does not want to answer that anymore.
– I have tried several times to reach him, but I have not succeeded yet. I’ve sent him a message, I’m sure we’ll talk, he says.
Dejan will help Jon Dahl Tomasson
One who, however, gets along well with Jon Dahl Tomasson is Dejan Kulusevski, who had the honor of wearing the captain’s armband during the Dane’s time as Swedish coach. He knows Elanga well from their time together in the national team and in the Premier League, where both Swedes reside.
Kulusevski thinks he could help Tomasson and Elanga make peace.
– I have no problems with anything in life and if it is necessary, I know that it will be solved from both sides. There is no danger. Anthony is a fantastic footballer and I am sure he will help us in the future, he tells Sportbladet.

This needs to be resolved ASAP. It is not good if there is something simmering in the national team now that there is finally some joy and harmony in the squad again. Keep fighting Sweden!
