(Finance) – They’re coming 343 million euros to strengthen the heritage of State highways, the in-house company of Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportentirely controlled by the MEF and established last April for the management of motorway sections. The measurement is provided in a amendment to the tax decree presented by the speakers in Senate Budget Committee.
The funds are intended for the acquisition of rights and obligations related to the shareholdings currently held by Anas Spa into four companies: Concessioni Autostradali Venete, Autostrada Asti-Cuneo Spa, Società Italiana per Azioni for the Mont Blanc Tunnel and Società Italiana Per Traforo Autostradale del Frejus.
At the same time, the tax decree intervenes on another priority: the recovery of healthcare waiting lists. The resources allocated during the Covid emergency in the two-year period 2020-2021 and not yet used by the Regions and the autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano they can be used until 31 December 2025 to implement operational plans for list disposal.
According to the explanatory report of the amendment, the funds will be allocated to additional performance enhancement et al involvement of accredited private operators, while ensuring the economic balance of the measures.
These interventions represent a dual government response: on the one hand, the consolidation of motorway infrastructure under public control; on the other, concrete support for the healthcare system to respond to citizens’ needs.
