Last Saturday, Jamina Roberts sprained her foot when her Vipers Kristiansand played against Ludwigsburg in the Champions League.
– I jumped up and covered a shot and on the way down I landed on someone else’s foot. The entire outside of the foot lay along the floor, the 34-year-old describes the situation for Aftonbladet.
She remained on the field for a long time and her teammates were visibly hurt.
She has been examined at home in Norway.

“The foot is getting better every day and I don’t see that there will be any danger for the EC. Will do another examination on Thursday, though, so maybe there is more to say then, but right now I wouldn’t say there is more than to say,” writes Roberts in a text message to SVT Sport.
She will be examined more closely by the national team’s medical team when the national team gathers in Lund.
Sweden meets Poland in a double-header on Saturday and Sunday in Ystad and Lund respectively, and Roberts is a question mark there.
The EC is played in Switzerland, Hungary and Austria from November 28 to December 15. Sweden plays its group stage in Debrecen and has home nation Hungary, North Macedonia and Turkey in the group. The top two move on to the main round.
