The reason is that he suffered from “serious health problems”, reports Czech media. According to information, the 52-year-old has been bedridden and suffered from both a cough and severe breathing problems.

Jaromir’s refusal

Most report that he was affected by covid and is on the road to recovery, after tougher circumstances. But at the same time, concerns about Jagr are growing in the Czech media because of his decisions during the corona pandemic.

The national hero refused to be vaccinated against covid-19, even when the Czech government asked him to be part of a vaccination campaign to persuade the population, he chose to stand up. Then the reason was that Jagr had antibodies, but he himself has admitted that he never took an injection.
– I’m not going anywhere because I’m not vaccinated, I can’t go anywhere. I can’t even have a birthday party. I will wait until the situation calms down, Jaromir Jagr said in February 2022.
