The Hunt release was in jeopardy because of real-life tragedies
The horror thriller sparked discussions simply because of its exaggerated depiction of the conflict between Republicans and Democrats in the USA. However, when the film was supposed to hit theaters in 2019, things happened around the release, according to Screen Rant Shootings in El Paso and Dayton.
It was then considered not to bring the film, which was characterized by gun violence, to the cinema at all. Finally, the US launch was set for March 13, 2020. Due to the recent Corona pandemic, The Hunt was available as a VoD title from March 20, 2020. It was published in this country on May 14, 2020.
